By using NuFocus, you agree to these Terms.

1) Eligibility and account

  • You must be legally able to enter a binding agreement to use NuFocus.
  • You are responsible for your account credentials and account activity.

2) What NuFocus provides

NuFocus provides productivity and focus tools, including:

  • Screen Time-based focus session controls
  • Scheduling, streaks, and usage statistics
  • Optional social features (friends/leaderboards)
  • Optional NFC card features
  • Optional Child Mode and emergency controls

3) Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use NuFocus for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, or harmful activity
  • Attempt to bypass, reverse engineer, or interfere with service security
  • Use another user’s account or impersonate others
  • Upload offensive, illegal, or rights-infringing profile content
  • Abuse social features, spam users, or harass others

4) Social features and user content

If you use social features:

  • You are responsible for usernames, profile photos, and related content you provide
  • You grant NuFocus a limited license to display your profile content in-app for service operation
  • We may remove content or restrict accounts that violate these Terms

5) Child Mode, Strict Mode, and NFC features

NuFocus includes optional lock-in features. You are responsible for:

  • Safely managing recovery codes and NFC card access
  • Understanding that misconfiguration may reduce your own device access convenience
  • Ensuring parent/guardian consent and lawful use where child devices are involved

6) Privacy

Your use of NuFocus is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

7) Third-party services

NuFocus may rely on third-party services (for example identity, storage, notifications, hosting). Their terms and policies may also apply.

8) Service changes and availability

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of NuFocus at any time.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

9) Account suspension or termination

We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, create risk to users or service integrity, or where required by law.

You may stop using NuFocus at any time and may request account deletion from in-app settings.

10) Intellectual property

NuFocus, including software, design, and branding (excluding third-party components), is owned by us or our licensors and protected by applicable law.

11) Disclaimers

NuFocus is provided “as is” and “as available” to the extent permitted by law.

NuFocus is a productivity tool and does not provide medical, legal, emergency, or mental-health treatment advice.

12) Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, NuFocus and its affiliates are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business interruption.

13) Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold NuFocus harmless from claims arising out of your misuse of NuFocus, your content, or your violation of these Terms.

14) Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of [Jurisdiction], excluding conflict-of-law rules.

15) Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. Continued use after updates means you accept the revised Terms.
